Meet Dr. Binoy Venkatachellum

At Binoys School of Symphonic Music, students are taught by Dr. Binoy Venkatachellum, BSc.DCMus. With a rich experience of 40 years teaching Music in schools and colleges, including the International School of Hyderabad, ICRISAT, teaching music of all the four key stages of The National Curriculum of England and the curriculum for IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education.UK.) Binoy brings a wealth of knowledge to every lesson. He is certified by Cambridge University to assess the Music coursework of IGCSE candidates and has experience teaching church and school choirs and Andhra Pradesh Police bands. For 35 years, Binoy has successfully taught, prepared and presented  students both in India and Canada for examination courses for TheTrinity College of Music  London , the ABRSM (Associated board of the Royal Schools of Music.) UK. The London college of Music, University of West London.UK.. Binoy holds the Diocesan Certificate in church music.Church of England,Salisbury Diocese.UK.Certificate in Conducting music(AMS.USA), Certificate in songwriting Berklee College of Music.(USA).Certificate Becoming a better Music teacher,ABRSM.London. Dr.h.c of Gospel Music.(LADCI) USA.Diploma in Educational Psychology. Diploma in Children studies.Certificate in Understanding dyslexia etc.

Our teaching philosophy

Our main goal is to make music lessons enjoyable while nurturing the student's interest in acquiring knowledge and understanding of their instruments. We aim to provide sophisticated and lifelong skills, so playing their instrument becomes a facet of their personality.
